Skyfire

Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026

Skyfire: Island Command (“Skyfire”, “we”, “us”) is a free browser game at skyfire.fun. It’s made and run by Alexander Howard, an independent developer in California, USA, who is responsible for your information under this policy. This page explains what Skyfire collects, why, who helps process it, and how you can see or delete it.

The short version

1. What we collect

Your account

Your commander and your wars

Social features

Technical information

Stored on your device

When you contact us

2. How we use it

We don’t show ads, we don’t use analytics or advertising trackers, and we don’t sell, rent or share your personal information for advertising.

3. What other players can see

Your call sign, level, rank and rating, wins and losses, clan, badges, war history and stats, and the chat messages you send are visible to other players. While you’re playing, your friends can see whether you’re online and which lobby you’re in. Please don’t put personal information such as your real name, address or phone number in your call sign, clan name or chat.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Skyfire. They process your information only to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and data protection terms:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the safety of players or the public, or to protect Skyfire against fraud or abuse. If Skyfire is ever transferred to someone else, your information would go with it and stay covered by this policy unless you’re told otherwise.

5. How long we keep it

6. Your choices and rights

If you’re in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your information, and to receive it in a portable format. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal bases are: providing the game you asked to play (contract); keeping Skyfire safe, fair and working (our legitimate interests); meeting legal obligations; and your consent, for browser notifications.

If you’re in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the right to know what we collect, and to access, correct and delete it. We don’t sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we won’t treat you differently for using your rights.

Do Not Track: we don’t track you across other websites, so a browser’s Do Not Track signal doesn’t change anything here.

7. Children

Skyfire is for players aged 13 and older. We ask for a birth year when a commander is created, and we delete the account straight away if the player is under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email support@skyfire.fun and we’ll delete it.

8. Security

Connections to Skyfire are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and the database only lets each player read and change what the game allows them to. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a password you don’t use anywhere else.

9. Where your information is processed

Skyfire is run from the United States, and our providers may process information in the US and other countries. Where the law requires it, they use safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll also tell you in the game before it takes effect.
